Of course, you'll need a TV, and a Playstation for after-game fun, but have you thought about food? Make this classic perfect-for-the-lads dips and you'll be the most popular guy (or girl) around. Hey, I'm not implying guys are easy to influence with food or anything... but yes, they are.

Spicy Chilli Dip With Sausage and Beans:

Classic man food, and you can make it as spicy as you want. You'll need:
- 1 pound of spicy sausages
- 1 can baked beans
- 1 cup barbeque sauce
- 1 1/2 cups fresh diced tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cups diced celery
- 1 1/4 diced onions
- 1 1/4 teaspoons garlic powder
- Hot sauce
- Salt and pepper

Garnish:

- 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- Tortilla chips
- 1/4 cup diced green spring onions

Preparation:

Start by crumbling the sausage in a large fry pan or pot, with a little vegetable oil, and fry until lightly browned. Drain off any excess fat and drippings. Add the onions and celery and keep cooking over a medium flame until the vegetables are tender and all pink from the meat has disappeared.

Add the baked beans and barbeque sauce and stir thoroughly, followed by hot sauce, garlic powder and tomatoes. Drain the liquid from the tomatoes if you want the dip to be nice and thick.

Simmer for 5-10 minutes, then serve in a large bowl, with separate little bowls for the garnish items, or just add them on top. Serve with tortilla chips or homemade bread.
